We colored our first Easter Eggs on Saturday in preparation to leave them for the Easter bunny to come and get them to hide and leave us a gift in our Easter baskets. They had a lot of fun. We were not for sure how this would work so we only did about 8 or 9 eggs and we only did the ones where they write on them with the wax crayon and then dip them. They turned out good and the ohs and ahs were worth it.

When we were done making some Easter eggs we planted plants to watch grow this spring. We planted 30 I think it was. Dahlias, sunflowers and apple seeds out of Dekan's apple that he insisted we use. Dekan could have sworn that they were already growing yesterday! :) Hopefully it will be something they can help with and watch. We have something special planned with them if they turn out so stay tuned! Speaking of flowers, get ready for some lily pictures this year. We have already started with the landscaping and my lilies are taking off already. We have plans for the back deck this year. Hope it all works out. I am ready to get out of the house and play!

So Easter morning our eggs were gone and the Easter bunny had left us gifts and hid our eggs. The kids LOVED hunting their Easter eggs this year. So COOL Dekan said.

Kaylie was taking them out of Dekan's basket and putting them in hers. :) Smart cookie! I have video of Daron following me around when I was little out at Nanny's and quietly sneaking one out of my basket. I never even noticed. She must have taken notes from Uncle Daron! Though Dekan QUICKLY noticed!!! The guys were asked to hide them again so we did it twice. Dekan was so excited when he realized that the plastic ones had M&M's! Mom and the Easter bunny are tight dont you know!
