One month

It feels weird to think that one month ago we were laughing together in the emergency room about the little old ladies from Camden that were trying to give mom the candy corn that can from their jacket pocket. To laugh about the little Japanese nurse that was upset at the other guy that couldn't get a vein to draw blood from and she poked once and hit the perfect spot. I still have no idea what she said to him, but you could tell she was upset and then she looked at me and said you hold her hand now. I thought to myself look lady I didn't do anything to you. Or joking with mom and saying hey momma it is after midnight do you think that we could get all the nurses in here to sing happy birthday to dad? Dad of course said, you had better not and mom giggled.

Today I am going to hold my kids a little tighter and kiss my hubby at least one extra time. Within a blink of an eye it could be gone and the happy times could only be a memory. At least they are good memories.

Hey girl. It was so good to see you last night. Of course I keep up with you through Cort & this blog. Maybe one day I'll get to really "meet" your beautiful kiddos. Tell your big bro I said hello.
