What have we been up to?

I think I already mentioned that my Daron and Nicole came in for a little while at the beginning of May. Dekan caught his first fish on his first fishing trip out with the boys. He had a great time. Mommy was jealous and wanted to go, but had other stuff going on and could not make it. We went to the zoo and walked down Beale Street that weekend.

Well if you read much you might remember that we planted little flowers in cups and was watching them grow and they were doing GREAT and just about ready to plant and then May happened. We stayed so busy and lost track of everything and they went kaput. (at least that is what Dekan said. :) So instead here is a lily picture. At one point I had 143 blooms. The yellows and pinks were really pretty this year as well, but I don’t have a picture of them. I only got to notice them on the way out the door and then on the way back in for a second and kept forgetting to grab the camera.

Glenn and I went on the 22nd to St. Louis to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. We had a great time and went to a game while we were there. We took time to just rest and get geared up for the next weekend.

The following weekend on the 27th we took off to Florida for a week. We spent the week with Ursula and family. We went to Disney for a day and we ate at the Wilderness Lodge. The kids really had a blast.

The real reason to go down there was graduations. They have four girls and three of them “graduated”. One graduated high school, one eighth grade and the other preschool. We celebrated, celebrated and then just a little more. I have one more set of pictures to post, but they are on a different camera and will come with the next blog. Andrea graduated from eighth grade and into high school. She is also going into the IB program.

Mindy graduated first from high school. She was in the IB program and was really decorated with all of her cords and what not. She never missed a single day from kindergarten through the 12th grade. How crazy is that! She never got sick during the week either. Two months ago when great grandmother Belcher passed away her services were held on the Saturday and Sunday. She made it there for the services and flew out Sunday night. She was less than 30 days away from having a perfect record. She received a plaque at the beginning of the ceremony for her accomplishments. This is a couple of pictures from her graduation and the proud mommy and daddy. :)

This is some pictures from Analiese’s graduation. I am not for sure what we all are doing in this picture, but oh well. It was the only ceremony Kaylie stayed awake for :) It was cute. She is the little blonde to the right of the really short girl in the middle. DSC_7193

Oh and I almost forgot to mention, Mr. Cecil made the trip with us. He really got a kick out of seeing all the Belcher great grandkids together and seeing some of them graduate. When we were all tired, he was ready to go again.

This past weekend we got back, but we brought two of the girls with us. So Analiese and Andrea are here for the month of June and then Mindy and Alyssa will be here for the month of July. We went to see Up this weekend. It was a really good movie.

We are planning on not going anywhere for a while now. We are definitely going back to St. Louis next month. Part of Mindy’s graduation gift was to go with us. We are going to see Annie this weekend and possibly going to see Thomas or Bob the Builder in the next few weeks as well. So never mind I guess on the not going places. :)
