I thought bowling with dad was funny. He played the Wii for the first time. This was him boxing Glenn. We had to tell him to box at the screen :)
So we are on a health kick for '09. Glenn has lost 8 pounds and I have lost 3 so far. (Just started in February). It is so funny watching the kids exercise with us. Dekan loves the pull-up bar. We will see if we are in better shape. I know one thing we are definitely eating better. Up until the.........

The cookie sale commenced. Girl Scouts have got to be little devils in disguise. They have been grooming these little demons since 1917. I fall for them every year. Tagalongs!!!!! My little niece sold 400 boxes. (Not all to us, though if I had the money....) Wonder how many boxes are sold annually in the US? 200 million with an annual revenue of $700 million. See the Girl Scouts of America could help us cut the deficit down a bit :) I did read on there website that no peanut butter was tainted. I thought OOPS I should have read that or probably even wondered about it before scarfing down my boxes. Too late now. Could you imagine that headline. Girl Scouts of America kill so many people all over the US with their tainted peanut butter.
I love this time of year. I start getting super excited about my guys. I am little upset this year starting without Mulder. I would have paid that man just to sit on the bench.

We are also without Aaron Miles. He is just a good little ballplayer.
I am probably most upset about not starting with Izzy and if you know me at all you know the last statement was a bold face lie. Good bye! I even broke out into a happy dance the day he finally got signed and it was not by us. I wish the Cubs would have gotten him. ;) By the way there is a fee now for reading my blog. Daron, Nicole, Glenn and I are trying to fund our way to the All-Star game. I will accept this as cash and check only. You know my address and I need it ASAP so thank you ahead of time for your generosity. :) Cheapest tickets I have found are $ 440 a ticket, so you see why I need the help huh? Chance of a lifetime. What a great birthday present huh? (for about 5 years in a row!) I will be attending the weeks festivities, wouldn't miss that crowd for the world! Already planned out games the day before we leave for Portland and the day we get back from Portland in September and I am sure some scattered out games here and there in between. We have a different make up of a team this year and played six outfielders in a game the other day. We won at least. Looking forward to a new season! :) Glenn is currently installing my TV in my office. I got to see the games somehow :) Oh and Mrs. Sue just email me and I will get you my new layout added to your page. I am sure you are just dieing to have one! (My two cubbie fans probably stopped reading when they opened my blog today :)
Addendum to the above: Daron: Dad said he would begin building little bleachers in the living room for us and cook hot dogs and popcorn. I asked him if he would run past us occasionally yelling Cold Bud Light with the same accent as the guys at the stadium. He agreed. Bring the cooler. We got our seats! :) (You all still send money though.)

Old people and video games is funny to watch. You need to watch last weeks SNL clip where Alec Baldwin plays the Wii with his kids. Did Glens dad do that too?
I could sit down and eat a whole box of Samoas in about 3 minutes. But then you look and realize that a whole box has about 2000 calories in it. What the...
Oh, and my "reader's fee" is in the mail.
Glenn's dad played some, but he is more up to date. My dad I think might have played the regular Nintendo years ago, but that was it. They wouldnt know how to work a computer if they tried and we had to get them a cell phone last year because he refused to buy one. He barely uses it now, but it was for emergency purposes anyhow. If that gives you an idea of how technically challenged they are :)
Okay Amanda......this is war with you and I between a CARDINAL fan and a CUB fan. I would think you would cut an old lady some slack.
Loved the pictures of your dad playing wii.....you should see Randall play ski jump....hilarious.
Aren't they fun though?
And can you believe NOT ONE Girl Scout hit me up for cookies this year. I'm having withdrawls.
