Smarty Pants Dekan

On an everyday basis Dekan does not cease to amaze me. He is really a smart little kid. He is only 2, but he can say his alphabet, knows all of his colors, and he can count to 10. I do not sit around with him and teach him stuff either. I just do normal everyday conversation with him. Of course all parents think their kids are smart. He is pretty much potty trained now because he wanted to and lately he has been asking to put his own clothes on. Mr. Independent by far. His speech is very good. The words he uses are sometimes more advanced than things I say. The other day he told me my mac-n-cheese was "delicious." I wonder what he would of said if I had actually put time into something that I cook. What 2-year-old says delicious? He also told me the other day that his banana was very good for his body and had vitamins in it. He teaches Kaylie and sits and sings with her and acts like he is reading. Pretty cute stuff. Not for sure where he gets some of things he will say or things he will do. He is such a friendly little guy too. We will see someone and stop and talk to them, but he had never met them before, he will want to shake their hands.
Then some times, like last night, out of no where he will do something though that brings us back to home and makes us realize that he is two. Very funny. He had his pants on and a shirt when we put him to bed. He came to the living room though with no underwear, his shirt off, and obviously a little bit of a problem with his pants :)
