Kids say the darnest things....

I use to like that show that Bill Cosby did. I thought it was staged though. The more Dekan becomes clear with his speech...the more I understand that it was not staged at all. The other night we told him that we were going to get Alvin and the Chipmunks for him to watch and he got excited and said he was going to watch, "Alvin and the Chiggernucks." When he does something really good in his eyes now he says, "Ta Dah!" :) When he hears other people laughing he will just start laughing and then say, "Thats funny!" with absolutely no idea of what is going on. We definitely have to watch what we say around him now, also. Usually we say just, "Get down" when he climbs, but the other day I made the mistake of saying, "Get your butt down from there." Dekan turned around and looked at me and said, "Get butt down!" and then of course smiled really big. Could of been worse I guess. I was finishing up with something in the bedroom the other day and Dekan came in there and of course that left her alone in her highchair eating snack, which she didnt care for very much. I asked Dekan if he would go in there and tell her that I will be right there, just a second. He said yes and went around the corner and screamed, "Just a second, Kaylie!!!" Sometimes, he doesnt learn things from us :)

That's too cute and true. The other day, Cade spilled something on the table. Kenna was sitting there beside him and she just kept saying, "D@mn it, Cade!" over and over and over. I tried not to laugh while I was getting on to her, but I couldn't help it.
